About Us

There are so many great reasons the Central United Methodist Church Consignment sale gets better and better each year, but the primary reason is simply because we are a group of parents who are trying hard to put God first in our lives and in doing so have set up our consignment sale to be a ministry of our church.  Here’s how:

·       The proceeds of the sale are returned to the children of Monroe through donations of school supplies, supporting the Boy Scouts, helping to fund the special needs Sunday School class, purchasing supplies for Children’s Ministry projects and so much more.

·       85% of the money of each item sold is given back to the consigner allowing hardworking Moms and Dads some extra spending money.

·       We are providing top quality clothing at an affordable price for the families of Monroe.  We work hard to ensure our clothes are stain free and in the best condition.

·       Because the sale is organized by a group of friends all brought together by God, He has a way of making sure everything runs smoothly.

·      Our sale has grown to over 180 consigners with hundreds of shoppers and more than $32,000 sold at our last sale.  We pray that each and every person who enters our building feels the love of Jesus through our passion for this ministry.

·       All consigners are given the option to donate unsold items and they are distributed to three non-profit Christian groups: “Turning Point, Department of Social Services (Foster & Adoption) and the H.E.L.P. Crisis Pregnancy Center of Monroe.
