Frequently Asked ?'s

  • Is there anything new for this sale?

             "YES"

All Sellers who are not donating ALL of their unsold items must return at 3:00pm (instead of 2:30pm) on Saturday to help with sorting of the unsold items.  Failure to return to help with sorting will result in being penalized an additional 15% of your total sales.

And....due to new State guidelines, no "side drop-down cribs" will be allowed to be sold.

  • Friday night Seller Sale will remain as it was during the Spring Sale.  Please read  below for details.

During the Friday night Seller Sale, ONLY the Sellers will be permitted to shop first.  Sellers will shop from 6:00pm-8:00pm.  Buddy Passes will still be available, but the buddies will not be permitted to enter the building until 7:00pm.  Only ONE buddy per Seller.  Sellers, your buddy MUST have their Buddy Pass to enter the building.  They will NOT be allowed to shop early without the Buddy Pass.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!  Sellers will receive their Buddy Pass at drop-off on Thursday, September 8th.

Due to the growth of the Consignment Sale, the "Clean-up" shift time has changed to 3:00pm-5:30pm.

For those Sellers who are NOT donating their unsold items to charity, when you return for sorting at 3:00pm, you MUST check in with Donna Young AND check out with Donna Young once ALL items are sorted before leaving.  Unfortunately, too many sellers are leaving after their personal items have been sorted and leaving the burden of sorting the rest of items to just a few.  Many hands make this process go very quickly.  Failure to comply will result in not receiving your full percentage return.

  • What Charity do you donate items to?

We donate to the H.E.L.P. Pregnancy Crisis Center of Monroe, Union County Department of Social Services (Foster and Adoption Unit) and Turning Point.

  • Can I get a tax receipt for my donation?

The Pregnancy Crisis Center and Turning Point do not give bulk tax receipts.  If you would like a receipt, you would have to take your items separately.

  • What if I cannot make the drop-off times that are scheduled?

No exceptions are made for drop-off times.  The building remains locked and will only be open during the designated hours.

  • Can I send someone in my place to help sort at the end of
    the sale?

Yes, you can send someone as your representative as long as it is NOT a fellow consigner.

  • How long does it take to get my check?

Checks are mailed out within four weeks of the end of the sale.

  • Am I limited to the number of items I can consign?

Absolutely not, there is no limit to the number of items you may consign.
